• Please do not make any Gary-Stus or Mary Sues. We want balanced characters that have room to grow in the group.

• These characters can be almost anything they want to be. Student, Lost Hiker, etc. , but if there’s something you’re unsure about, don’t hesitate to ask.

• It would be appreciated if you don’t add too much tragic themes on your character’s history/backstory. ( Orphaned child, dead family, abusive family, being bullied way too much and in an over exaggerated fashion, etc.)

• We understand if you’d like to add some drama to their lives, but don’t overdo it, even if our setting isn’t the greatest either.

• Please make your application outputs on your own. Writing must be your own, and so should your art. ( No art theft, tracing, bases, etc. )

• For artwork, we’re not looking for amazing art, but we are looking for good effort and quality. It means that it needs to be properly filled out, and it doesn’t seemed too rushed.

APPEARANCE / PHYSIQUE

• Make sure your characters look their age, their weight, their build, etc.

• Unnatural hair and eye colors are okay as long as they're  just dyed or colored contacts. Things like these don’t last forever, so through the course of this journey, it’d be fun to see how much their appearances change.

• Be realistic with their clothes, as details like these are very important later on.

• HYOUHI is a story with inspirations from mainstream and indie horror games that have influenced the genre.
  
• This group is rated R17. Themes of Violence, Blood, Strong Language, Mature content, etc. is involved. It is highly encouraged that you are at least of the age or higher of the rating stated.
  
• A casual, semi-private RP group, openings happen scarcely. If you're very much interested, keep on the look out by watching the group! 
  
• We do not tolerate bad behavior, but we like to give 2nd chances, so this group has a 1 WARNING policy. However, if you argue against the mod, and show no signs of respect, you will be kicked out on your first offense.

We do not accept any art that is the following:

5. Work that is strongly referenced without proper sources/citations.

• NSFW art is allowed in this group, but mostly things like very dark themes, violence, and gore.

• Respect the mod, please. She’s a weak soul, that’s new to the whole thing.

• Always ask for RPs, and don’t push people to follow what you want.

• Always think about the person you’re RPing with. Show respect and always ask before starting something! Their consent is just as important as your own.
  
• Don’t make RP angst/dramas that can cause others uncomfortable. ( Even in a horror group, there are lines for certain people, ok )
  
• Romance is allowed to happen, but don’t make that a focus. This is still a horror group.
  
• Please keep IC & OOC separate from each other.
  
• Balance your angst and your fluff, or fun. Either things get too stagnant, or things get too stressful. Just cause it’s a tense setting doesn’t mean everything has to immediately be screaming, crying, or hurting everything around you.
