P e r s o n a l i t y :

+ Non-complainer: He loves what he does and doesn’t whine or complain about it.

+ Affable: Easy to approach and is friendly.

+ Writer/Artist : He believes that he should record his life, so when he has children, he can show his adventures to them. He also makes poems and sketches from time to time.

+ Content: He doesn’t ask much from others, because he feels like there’s nothing more to need. Only want.

+ Hoarder: One slight flaw, he likes to hoard items from their adventure’s and collects items. Sometimes what he takes is a bit more than he can carry.

+ Glutton: Loves to eat, but for some reason... DOESN’T GET FAT-- WHYY.

+ Loving: Treats everyone as one big happy family. He also loves taking care of kids.

B a c k g r o u n d :

Damaen was born into a poor family of twelve, having two parents, and Nine other siblings. He’s the 3rd eldest guy in the family, and he’s the one who did most of the babysitting. While his other siblings would cook, clean, and do housework, Damaen would be taking care of the younger siblings, teaching them what they need to know. he was the 4th eldest in the family, and his 2 older brothers and sister would always boss him around, and take advantage of him for his natural act of kindness and obedience.

At times when he didn’t watch over his siblings, he would play around by the pier of the airships, and he would be taught by sailors how to do the basics of taking care of the ship, and what sailors do on the ship. Learning all those things, and improving on them, he dreamt of being a sailor ever since. He has a slight problem though. He had an accident when he was three years old, and lost the ability to speak. He had turned mute. Since his family isn’t rich to have any fancy ways to make him talk, they decided to do the next best thing: Let him write. They gave him a sketch pad, and a pen and pencil set, so he could communicate. This also made him learn how to draw, and sketch.

Also teaching his siblings about the world, and what was in it made him realize how much he wanted to go on his own adventures. He wished he could go, but there was no way for that to happen. Not until his eldest brother got married an ran away. This made his mother and father worried about the eldest, and wanted someone to go after him. That made Damaen light up, since he could use that chance to travel the world, and sketch it along the way (//kicked).

His only problem now was how to find a crew and a ship. While he thought near the pier, he saw an amazing looking airship, the Embassy. He was so amazed he moved closer and started sketching it. While he sketched, Ran saw him, and looked over at the amazing drawing he made of the Airship. She asked him if he could draw maps on where ever they traveled, and when Damaen replied on paper, making Ran realize that he was mute, made her more amazed and made him join the crew, as a sailor of the group.

A d d i t i o n a l . F a c t s :

+ He made the boots himself, since he always loses direction and sense of time.

+ The Key on his Belt is the Key to his treasures. The jewels and Lien he's found on his adventures in the mines. I know you totally want to steal it.

+ One of Damaen's ambitions is to find a way to make him talk.

+ His town is near the Rushmere mines, where he used to play as a kid.

+ If you're close enough with him, he'll share his treasure with you.

+ He has 2 brothers and 7 sisters. ( FFF- )
