☀ Personality:

He's a very energetic and enthusiastic kind of person. Known around his town for his smile and kind and caring nature, he can't be forgotten for many good deeds he does. Though stubborn and hot headed at times, he will give in if he makes mistakes. He doesn't like nagging though, and would give attitude sometimes.

☀History:

Born and raised in Aragusuku-Jima, he always spent time with his grandfather, the man who founded the school. He would tell Haru stories about mermaids and mermen that inhabited the place. Because of that, he started to believe that they really did exist. Though his classmates made fun of him when he was younger, he stil stood firm on the stories his grandfather told him.

At the age of 8, his father, a well known surfer in Japan started teaching him how to surf. As time passed, he got the hang of it, and grew a closer bond to the ocean, as he mother, a scientist of marine life brought him to aquatic reserves and taught him how to dive. Ever since, he's felt like he's connected to the ocean and that he and the ocean have made a strong bond with each other, since he spent most of his time there. He also made a friend he would meet and spend time with every Summer, by the name of Tsuji Naruya.

One day, at the age of 15, he was watching the waves on his surfboard, in the middle of the ocean, daydreaming of the times when his grandfather was still alive. His father took over the school and became the new owner and chairman. As he daydreamed, he spotted something from afar. A tail of a sea creature that he's never seen before. Before he could see it any clearer, the sky was already dark. A typhoon was happening. He got swept away by the waves, and thought he was about to lose his life. Fortunately, he woke up on the shore, his surfboard split in half, and a shining light pink pearl on the palm of his hand.

He believed that he was saved by someone, but he wasn't sure who exactly. He kept it to his imagination that a mermaid saved his life. Ever since, he kept the pearl as a sign of good luck whenever he ventured out into the deep blue. At the age of 17, his father told him that he would be the Student Council President of the school, and he agreed to do his best to make the school a home for the students.

☀Additional Info:

The bracelet he wears on his right hand is his good luck charm.
He has a pet dog named Whirlpool for its energetic nature.
When he hears thunder, he'll curl up and hold his ears, and shuts his eyes.
The Disciplinary Officer is one of his best friends-- though he cant' stand the nagging at times.
He can do many sports-- except soccer, archery, and Kendo.
